Apply ghee or sesame oil to the inside of your nose before boarding the plane. Mucous membranes will get super dry on flights – especially long flights – which is an invitation to germs. Reapply every 3 hours to keep them moisturized.
Keep your carry-on bag close to you. You’ve packed a lot of wonderful items that you will want within arm’s reach.
Use the ghee, oils, mist whenever your (skin, face, lips) are feeling dry.
Stay hydrated with warm water or juice.
Get up and stretch, walk, or warrior pose your way down the aisle to keep blood flowing.
Prepare for sleep (wash face, brush teeth, take meds, change into PJs, etc.) and try to rest when the cabin is prepped for nighttime. Get out your eye mask, noise canceling headphones, blanket, pillow, herbs, and oils. Time to get some ZZZ's.
